Ladder Up

At the following locations, you can receive free electronic preparation and e-filing of your tax return. We serve households earning up to $45,000 annually and individuals earning up to $20,000 annually. We cannot serve you if you have capital gains, income from rental property, or if you are not a full-time Illinois resident, as we do not train our volunteers on certain aspects that are part of your tax return.

Most sites are open from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday mornings from January 21 to April 14, 2012, with all sites being closed on Saturday, March 17, 2012. Please note that not all sites are open every Saturday and some have different hours.
All sites operate on a first come, first served basis, so please arrive early, as many sites will be full well before the official closing time.
Select sites are also open on certain weekdays (please see each site's notes for additional details):
- Mondays: College of Lake County
- Tuesdays: Chicago City Hall, Wilbur Wright College
- Wednesdays: Chicago City Hall, Roberto Clemente High School
- Thursdays: Chicago City Hall, YMCA McCormick Tribune
