The Tax Assistance Program enlists the help of volunteer professionals to offer free, confidential tax and student aid form preparation and financial consulting services to low-income clients. Our goal is for these clients to bring home tax refunds, make postsecondary education affordable, and utilize a vast array of financial tools to improve their quality of life.

In 2005, TAP recruited a record-breaking 1,717 volunteers in its eleventh season to implement its Tax Preparation and Financial Literacy Programs. TAP is a full-service financial entity that promotes financial independence and stability for low-income families.
